Building Stronger Communities

Who We Are

The North Bay Building Trades is a leading organization representing the interests of the men and women who work in the construction trades across the North Bay region: Sonoma County, Marin County, Lake County & Mendocino County. With a history spanning over decades, we have grown to become a trusted voice in the industry.

Our organization is composed of a diverse group of trade unions, workers, contractors, and professionals who are dedicated to fostering collaboration, innovation, and safety in the construction sector.

Our Values

  • Excellence

We are committed to upholding the highest standards of excellence in the construction industry. We believe that quality workmanship and continuous improvement are essential for the success of every project.

  • Inclusivity & Community

We embrace diversity as a cornerstone of our organization. We actively seek to create a more inclusive industry by promoting equal opportunities and celebrating the unique contributions of all individuals in our community.

We believe in giving back to the communities we serve. Whether through apprenticeship programs, charitable initiatives, or local partnerships, we are dedicated to making a positive impact beyond the job site.

  • Safety

Safety is non-negotiable. We prioritize the well-being of our members, workers, and the public by advocating for and implementing rigorous safety standards on construction sites.

Our Mission

At the North Bay Building Trades, our mission is simple: to build stronger communities and empower individuals by promoting excellence and diversity in the construction industry. We believe that well-trained, skilled workers are the foundation of any successful community, and we are committed to creating opportunities for both our members and the communities we serve here in Northern California.
